Services

Whether you've worked with a travel advisor before or you're considering doing so for the first time, this page covers how I work, what it costs, and answers to the questions I hear most often.

The initial consultation is always complimentary.

If you're not sure whether your trip is a good fit, just reach out and we'll figure it out together!

How I Can Help

There are a few main ways to work with me, depending on how much you need.

1 | Hotel Booking

Best for: You already know exactly which hotel you want (or have narrowed it down to 2–3 specific hotels), and when you want to be there. You just want to make sure you're booking it the right way.

How it works: You tell me the hotel(s) and your dates. I'll check whether I can book it with additional benefits through my preferred partner networks (which gets you perks like room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, or property credits, where available at participating properties). If I can get you those perks, I book it for you (or, in many cases, I can send you a link so that you can book yourself and still get all the perks). If I can't improve on what you're seeing on your own, I'll tell you that too.

Not all hotels provide perks; perks tend to come with 4- and 5-star hotels that are part of international hotel groups. So if you're already booking this type of luxury property on your own, you're likely missing out on these additional benefits.

Fee: Complimentary. I earn a commission from the hotel; you pay the same rate you'd pay booking direct.

2 | Hotel Planning

Best for: You know your destination (or destinations) and approximate dates, you're a more independent traveler who is comfortable figuring out logistics and activities on your own, but you want expert help figuring out where to stay.

How it works: We'll start with a short, complimentary consultation call to talk through your preferences: vibes, amenities, price point, what matters most to you for this particular trip. Then I do the research: finding the right properties, evaluating what's available, comparing rates, and presenting you with a curated set of recommendations with my take on each including why I am recommending it for you. In other words, you get a hotel lookbook. Once you've decided, I handle the booking.

Fee: Starting at $50 per hotel lookbook. (Traveling to Stockholm and then Helsinki = two destinations, two hotel lookbooks.)

3 | Full Trip Planning

Best for: You want someone to handle the whole thing… or you're not even sure where to start.

How it works: If you don't know where you want to go yet, that's completely fine! We'll start with a short travel planning inquiry form for you to provide some high level details, then have a complimentary consultation call to talk through the kind of experience you're looking for, your travel style and preferences, when you can go, and your price point, and I'll help you figure it out. From there, I handle everything:

  • Hotel research and bookings

  • Trains, transfers, and ground transportation (and, in certain situations, flights)

  • Tours, activities, and experiences

  • A day-by-day itinerary with all the details in one place

  • Support before and during your trip if anything comes up

Fee: Starting at $50 per night of travel, minimum $250. The exact fee is based on the scope of your trip and is quoted on our initial consultation call (which is always complimentary), before you commit to anything. I’ll get started on the planning once the payment has been completed; you will never owe anything retroactively.

Full trip planning works best with at least 6–8 weeks of lead time, and ideally 4–6 months before when you want to travel. The earlier you reach out, the more options we have. And for safaris and cruises, or travel over peak seasons like spring break, summer and the winter holidays, the more time ahead, the better!

4 | Cruise Booking and/or Planning

Cruise Booking: You already know exactly which cruise line, itinerary, and dates you want. Fee: Complimentary.

Cruise Planning: You know your preferred ports and approximate length of cruise, you're comfortable getting to and from the cruise and arranging any pre- and post-cruise stays on your own, but you want expert help figuring out which cruise to book. Fee: Starting at $150 per cruise lookbook.

Full Trip Planning, including a Cruise Component: You know you want to go on a trip and you know you want that trip to include a cruise, and you want someone to handle the whole thing (pre- and post-cruise stays, shore excursions, etc.). Fee: Starting at $50 per night of travel, minimum $250. The exact fee is based on the scope of your trip and is quoted on our complimentary initial consultation call.

Don't See a Plan That Works for You?

I can still help! Get in touch through email, Instagram DM, or my travel planning inquiry form, and we'll chat through what you need (again, the consultation call is always complimentary) and I'll let you know the fee during or following that call.

A few other services I can offer:

  • Group tours (whether you would like to organize the whole group, or are traveling solo or in a small group and just want to join an organized small group tour)

  • Destination wedding hotel blocks

  • Group trips (destination birthdays, bachelorettes, etc.)

  • Corporate retreats

  • Airport transfers

  • Premium economy & business class international flight bookings

What You Get, Regardless of Level

Time back. Research is the part that takes forever: reading reviews, comparing options, figuring out what's actually worth it versus what just has good marketing. When you work with me, that's my job, not yours.

One point of contact. Whether it's hotels, transportation, tours, I coordinate it all. You don't have to keep track of who booked what where, or chase down confirmations from multiple vendors.

The right partners for your trip. I work with a vetted network of hotels and on-the-ground local operators around the world. I choose partners based on what's the best fit for you specifically, not a generic list of "top picks."

My actual opinion. I've been to a lot of these places, or if I haven't personally, I have access to resources including other travel advisors and direct connections to vetted suppliers that are not publicly available. I'll tell you what I actually think, not just what sounds good on paper. That includes telling you when somewhere isn't worth the hype, or when there's a better option you hadn't considered.

Someone in your corner if something goes wrong. Hotel overbooked, something changes last minute? I have direct contacts at hotels and suppliers and I handle it. You don't spend hours on hold with a call center.

Step 1: Submit an inquiry

Fill out my travel planning inquiry form with a little information about your trip: destination(s), travel dates or timeframe, what you're looking for, that sort of thing.

Not sure yet? Just say that.

Step 2: Complimentary consultation call

We'll get on a short call to talk through the details: your travel style, priorities, price point, and any questions you have about working with me. This is where I get a real sense of what you're looking for, and where we figure out which level of service makes the most sense for your trip. This call is always complimentary.

(Note: For a straightforward hotel booking where you already know the property and dates, or a cruise booking where you already know the cruise line, itinerary, and dates, you can skip the inquiry form and call and just send me the details directly via email.)

Step 3: Service agreement and fee confirmation

For hotel planning, cruise planning, and full trip planning, I'll follow up with my service agreement and confirm the planning fee and scope of work. You decide whether you want to move forward. Both need to be signed and paid before I begin work on your trip. There is no obligation and you do not commit to anything unless and until you complete these steps.

(Note: For a straightforward hotel or cruise booking, there is no planning fee.)

Step 4: Planning begins

Once everything is confirmed, I get to work! I'll come back to you with a first-round proposal of hotels or cruises (and, for full trip planning, an initial itinerary framework). We refine from there until it's right (generally in order of: destination(s), hotels/cruises, then tours and transportation), then I make all the applicable bookings. There are certain types of bookings (primarily public transportation like trains, ferries, buses, and flights) that are best booked directly by you, and for those, I’ll provide you recommended times and booking instructions.

Step 5: Pre-departure and in-destination support

You'll hear from me a couple months before departure with a pre-trip check-in covering any final details.

A few weeks out, I'll send your final itinerary and all documents in one place.

I'll also provide you contact information for who to reach out to if you have any issues once on the ground (which may be me, a local partner, your hotel concierge, etc. depending on the particular trip structure).

How it works

Here's what the process of working with me looks like.
